It’s funny how MOCs can come together all of a sudden, when you get that final element that makes it all fall into place. I acquired the dark tan and gold metallic 2×2 bricks in two festive Baubles bought back in November, along with the two sizes of tan plates, and wondered what to do with them. Then in my December visit to Leicester Square, I picked up a load of 1×1 trans yellow plates and a few more larger tan plates. The colours went together well, as I experimented with the placement of wall and window elements, the gaps I left made perfect little balconies. I had to make a Bricklink order to get enough 1×1 tan tiles to finish them off.

I had a couple of little gold metallic nano figures which I placed at the two main entrances to the courtyard garden between the blocks. They look just like Oscars, matching the gold bricks perfectly, and hence Oscar Court named itself.

It makes a nice little 1/4 block for the residential area of my Micropolis project.
