After a visit to the Pick A Brick wall at the Leicester Square LEGO store a few months ago, I came away with lots of 4×4 light bluish grey plates and 1×4 bricks with studs on the side, along with a number of orange 1×2 plates, plus a few other bits and pieces, which formed the basis for this build. I showed a photo of the build on Twitter and a friend there said they looked like Conning Towers, so the name stuck! These form part of the Student accommodation of Micropolis University, and sit close to Founders’ Court in my city.
