SigFig Drawing By Matt Elder

I was on Matt Elder’s first Livestream the other day, and as part of the build up for the show, Matt (who is a talented artist) did a painting of my SigFig to promote it. He was kind enough to send me this electronic version of it! Check out Matt’s website for more info on his art.
Guest Appearance on Family Bricks Livestream EP01
Today I had the pleasure of taking part in the first Livestream by fellow London AFOL Matt Elder on his FamilyBricks channel. I started building the huge Destiny’s Bounty set, 70618 which I’ve had sitting in its box for months. Other esteemed guests included Kevin Hinkle, SaraStarBricks, LambourghiniWaffleSauce and UK LEGO Masters winner Nate Dias. It was a lot of fun! Watch the replay here:

LEGO House Reopens & My Microplis Exhibit Extended
For the last 100 days, along with thousands of other attractions around the world, the LEGO House in Billund has been silent and empty of visitors, due to the pandemic restrictions. Things are now improving in Denmark, so from today, 22nd June, the House will be open again, with special social distancing measures in place. The Dinosaurs can’t wait to welcome visitors again.
As many of my viewers will know, I have some of my Micropolis models on display in the Masterpiece Gallery, which would normally run for 12 months. But recently, the LEGO House folks have been in touch to ask if they can keep my builds for another 12 months, so they will continue to be on display until September 2021.
Big Orange Storage – Micropolis Block #187
A few months ago I saw an image on Google of a large, blocky building with a letterbox-style inset around two sides on the first floor. I thought about it for a while and eventually this design formed the seed of the idea for this building, Big Orange Storage.
