My GBC In Virtual Brickworld’s International Loop

Saturday, 31st October 2020 By Caz

Brickworld held another virtual con over Halloween weekend, and I was invited to be part of the international Great Ball Contraption loop. The original first presenter was a bit late, so I went on as the first guest – but after a couple of modules, one of mine broke! There was a handover to Derek while the errant machine got fixed. Hence, my contribution starts at 3’55” and again at 31’20”.

Minifig Themed Habitats #13 – Halloween II

Friday, 30th October 2020 By Caz

A year ago, for Halloween, I started building Minifigure Habitats. You can see my very first video about them in this post.

I thought I would build a few more for Halloween this year. There are two minifigures from the Build A Minifigure bar from LEGO stors – a Witch and a skeleton, plus the original Vampire from CMF Series 2.

My MOCs from 70437 Hidden Side Mystery Castle

Sunday, 25th October 2020 By Caz

This video is a little different to my usual fare of Micropolis, Minifigure Habitats, Great Ball Contraption or my LEGO City Blockville.

I have just become a regular contributor to the New Elementary website, which reviews LEGO sets with a heavy bias towards analysing new colours, rare parts and new moulds. For my first review, I was sent Mystery Castle (70437), the biggest set in the Hidden Side theme for 2020.

I’m not going to re-hash my review of it here – you can read it for yourself on the New Elementary website.

Instead, I would like to showcase the MOCs I built from the castle’s pieces, with a few supplimentary elements from my own collection.

Minifig Themed Habitats #12

Tuesday, 20th October 2020 By Caz

I know some people aren’t fans of Minions, but I personnaly love them. So I was delighted to get my hands on a set of the Brick-built Minions and their Lair (75551) a while back. The interiors of the big Minions are crammed full of fun features. And since I had quite a few pieces left over from the second set, I decided to make some Minifigure Habitats for the three duplicate mini Minions I ended up with.

Minifig Themed Habitats #11

This trio of custom Minifigure Habitats are a fun set, starting with one of the old Pirate theme’s Captains, CMF Series 11’s Gingerbread Man and CMF4’s Hazmat Suit Guy.
