When I first finished the Jade Court Hotel I releasied I needed to make a few more water modules for Micropolis Bay to complete the three by one and a half block area defined by the buildings around the edge. The Lifeboat Station was the first, and this Bandstand and prom is the second quarter block to fill in the shoreline.
Next followed an 8-stud extension to the pier, which always look ed a bit shore sitting on just one quarter block – it is now on a half block and looks much more in proportion. This just left a single quarter block hole of open water which needed filling, so I have pinched one of the cargo boats from Butlers’ Wharf to give it a bit of interest.
Of course, I knew you would want to see the finished product, so here is a flyover view of the whole bay, with each of these modules now in place. I don’t plan to make it any bigger just yet, but if I did, I would probably make it 2 blocks deep and push Holy Island further out to sea, with a few more open water pieces to finish things off.
