This impressive looking structure is the modern Opera House which has just opened in Micropolis. It sits on a plot close to beautiful Micropolis Bay and will no doubt become the go-to venue for both Opera and other large-scale theatrical performances.
The structural struts which surround the building are what originally inspired me to build something – they are the Small Support Legs, part 30211, from the Insectoids theme, originally released in the late 1990’s. I thought they made ideal detailing for the outside of a building.
