Let’s take a brief respite from my House of DOTS work to look at another new to me Great Ball Contraption module, which I call my Rainbow Lime Wheel.
This is a new Great Ball Contraption module which I built after seeing the original by Swedish AFOL Staffan Ihl at last year’s Skærbæk Fan Weekend. Fortunately, I didn’t have to backwards engineer anything (I’m not sure I could have!) because plans for this build are available free online at Planet GBC.
The London AFOLs held their annual Great Ball Contraption display last weekend at the London Model Engineering Exhibition at Alexandra Palace in north London. As usual, the adults loved it and the kids were entranced. Here you can see the complete layout.
