It’s been over five weeks since my last Blockville update, and I thought it was well overdue for another. The Old Town parade still seems to be in full swing, but as we approach the end of the raised level, you might notice something missing! I have decided to expand my Ninjago District, which will live elsewhere, so Ninjago City and the Docks have been removed, which now frees up some real estate in Old Town for other things. Watch this space for progress!
LEGO Blockville Update #11 – Donuts, Ladder 4 Tavern & Finished Monorail Train MOC
The first change for Blockville this time, is the arrival of the Been There, Donut That set, 40358, which I got from a friend who had contacts in the States. It fits in nicely at the back of Anton’s Wharf. The video shows us the rest.
Ladder 4 Tavern – Re-MOC of LEGO Winter Village Fire Station – Blockville MOCs & MODs #5
When I first saw the new LEGO Creator Expert Winter Village Fire Station, set 10263, I immediately liked the colours and the design of front of the building, but wasn’t keen on the open back, so I dismissed buying it initially. But having seen JC from Small Brick City do a brilliant re-MOC of this set into a pub, I immediately saw there was more potential than I had originally given it credit for. So here is what I came up with.
LEGO Store MOC – Blockville MOCs & MODs #4
The ets I used to make this MOC for my custom LEGO City Blockville were 40145 – LEGO Brand Retail Store, 40178 Exclusive VIP Set and 5005358 Minifigure Factory GWP. So I decided to try and combine all three sets to make a two-storey LEGO store which would sit on a 16×32 baseplate, effectively a half modular build. A lot of trial and error later, and this was the finished result.
