This is Kiwi Court, a block of residential flats which I build a few weeks ago. Each cantilevered floor sits at right angles to the one below, while the different heights of the two blocks adds some visual variety.
Blackthorn Heights – Micropolis Block #162
This office block is called Blackthorn Heights and was inspired by acquiring seven 6×10 black plates which I used for each floor. And when I think seven, I always think rainbow colours, so it was inevitable that each floor here would feature a different colour of the rainbow as a highlight. It is called Blackthorn Heights.
Aqua Place – Micropolis Block #161
I love the colour combination of trans light blue with white, and have been using it quite a lot in my recent Micropolis builds. This model was inspired by finding a dozen or so white 3×3 plates in my parts collection, and fiddling about with lots of trans light blue 1×1 bricks to form these stackable squares. This exlusive development is known as Aqua Place and it is situated not far from Micropolis Bay with easy access to all the leisure facilities there.
Shildon Heights – Micropolis Block #91
Shildon Heights is an office complex in Downtown Micropolis, sitting on a 1/4 block plot. Its avante garde design is another one from the drawing boards of Hvid Hus Associates and features a twist in each tower, as well as windows which are slightly askew.
Pisa Court – Micropolis Block #53
I had the plans for this module drawn up in Lego Digital Designer for several months, but was delaying ordering the parts as the 1×2 trans black bricks in particular were proving quite expensive to source. But some time after initially designing the floors, I realised I had acquired all the pieces I needed – albeit in different colours to my original plan. Pisa Court was finally realised.
Virtual MOC: Marina Point
I had another idea for more waterfront property – this time a 3-storey cantilevered structure jutting out into the marina itself – called Marina Point. It’s an exclusive development, influenced by nautical themes, which only the super-rich can afford – but does come with its own moorings for the largest of yachts.

There is even some parking available next to the entrance – luxury indeed, in Micropolis.
