The first set that I built from my Christmas Haul was the third Architecture Skyline model that I own, New York City (21028).

The model starts small with the Statue of Liberty and works its way up to the One World Trade Center. There were some excellent techniques for microscale buildings, which I must try to remember for some of my Micropolis MOCs.
