It was great to hang out with Greg from GJBricks and Legolamaniac, while I built one of the new Minions.
Guest Appearance on Legolamaniac’s 24hour Charity Livestream
On 2nd May, my LEGO buddy Legolamaniac held a 24-hour charity livestream on YouTube to raise money for endangered wild cat species. He had various folks on as a guest while he attempted to build an enormous Executor Star Dreadnought ship from Star Wars. He has now published each segment so you can watch the entire playlist of the event or just see my appearance below:
Sigfig Habitats #1
These three Habitats are a little bit different from the previous, in that they are not for collectible Minifigures, but are dedicated to the Sigfigs of YouTube friends I have made. They are Dutchman Zabadak, the enigmatic Norwegian time-traveller Legolamaniac with his faithful feline Vega, and Brit Bob, the Fabuland fancying alter ego of Robin Hull.
Building With BlockHeadUK #2 – LEGO Creator Expert Lunar Lander 10266
I celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing today by building the LEGO Creator Expert Lunar Lander, set 10266. with YouTube friend Legolamaniac.
Guest Appearance on Legolamaniac’s 72-Hour Community Livestream Segment
As well as hosting my own segment of the LEGO Youtubers’ 72-Hour Community Livestream today, I was also a guest on Legolamaniac’s part of the event. We had a lot of fun chatting – watch the replay here.
Vega House – Micropolis Block #121
A while ago, YouTube friend Legolamaniac sent me his sigfig as a swap, and included these “guess the leftovers” pieces for me to use in a future Micropolis build. I’ve been wondering what to do with them but when I decided to take part in his 24-hour May 4th LiveStream as a guest while he built the UCS Millennium Falcon, I knew I had to make use of them somehow. I designed this new Micropolis block in Lego Digital Designer and ordered a few parts I needed, then did a test build. It all worked, so I was ready for the live stream. The block is called Vega House, after his beautiful Abyssinian cat who muscles into his timelapse videos on a regular basis. Its the headquarters of the Legolamaniac Corporation in Micropolis, a mysterious organisation rumoured to have mastered the art of time travel!
