Scorpion Finance – Micropolis Block #176
I recently acquired a handful of these wonderful printed 1x2x5 bricks with the dark red and silver Scorpion pattern, and wanted to use them in a Micropolis build. It didn’t take long to come together, sticking to this dark and menacing colour palette. Some modest landscaping in sand green completed the look. And so Scorpion Finance was born.
Hearts Nightclub & Casino – Micropolis Block #92
Hearts Nightclub and Casino is the place where all the high rollers of Micropolis want to be seen, as it’s the most trendy venue in town. The place is owned by the slightly crooked Trumped Up Corporation, and so your winnings can be laundered in many dodgy ways. But their lawyers are just across the street, and will undoubtably deny everything.
Schwarz Court – Micropolis Block #89
This 1/4 block of imposing offices belongs to a Law Firm called Schwarz And Schwärzer. They are top notch in their litigation field and have this impressive corner courtyard plot in the heart of Downtown Micropolis, opposite the Trumped Up Corporation. Not that the head of Trumped Up needs to speak to his lawyers in a hurry, you understand. Not at all.
MOC: Obsidian House
Today I thought I would make use of some more of the bits I acquired in Monday’s haul. I combined some of the 1×2 black grille bricks, the round gold tiles and a few of those 2×2 trans yellow bricks to build Obsidian House – Micropolis HQ of the Trumped Up Corporation. It’s all about the bling, as you can see. The more ostentatious details, the better.
The gold statues out front are clearly effigies of Trumped Up Corp.’s narcissistic CEO, which stand there to remind all who pass just who is in charge.
