I love the colour combination of trans light blue with white, and have been using it quite a lot in my recent Micropolis builds. This model was inspired by finding a dozen or so white 3×3 plates in my parts collection, and fiddling about with lots of trans light blue 1×1 bricks to form these stackable squares. This exlusive development is known as Aqua Place and it is situated not far from Micropolis Bay with easy access to all the leisure facilities there.
I’ve been meaning to expand the watery areas of my Micropolis for some time, and have recently picked up some blue plates to make a start. This first section is Surfers’ Point, an exclusive area of the coast where well to do surfers can hire an expensive but tiny beachside house for a few days, complete with a private beach. At the end, is a small cafe providing snacks to other beach users on a sunny day. A little dinghy is out on the water, making the most of the lovely weather. Expect more watery updates soon!
This video shows you three different designs for canal modules for my LEGO Micropolis city. Whilst they are not quite in the Micropolis standard as they are only 8 studs wide, I now have enough canal pieces to run through 8 full blocks, so they make a great addition to my city.
